VOLUNTEER
From the very beginning, volunteers have been an integral part of all that we do in our communities. Hands of Hope (HOH) was started by volunteers, and they continue to be involved in all our operations. We would like to thank you for your interest in supporting our work in Middlesex County and beyond. To ensure the safety and peace of mind of our volunteer partners, we suggest all volunteers exercise safe and healthy judgment when determining their attendance at HOH activities and events. All weekday volunteers must be scheduled in advance, as we cannot accept walk-ins during the week. We require all our volunteers to register ahead of time using our online portal.
At Hands of Hope, we are constantly working on various initiatives to combat hunger and provide support to those in need. Volunteering with us is an incredible way to make a direct impact in your community. Whether you are interested in helping at our food pantry, assisting with food distribution, or supporting one of our many community outreach programs, there are numerous opportunities to get involved.
Our ongoing projects include organizing food drives, preparing and serving meals, and providing non-perishable food bags to our clients.

WEEKDAY
OPPORTUNITIES
Pantry Help
Volunteering during the week at our food pantry is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As a weekday volunteer, you will engage in tasks such as receiving donations, processing incoming items, organizing food on shelves, and packing bags for distribution. Your assistance is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. By helping to manage and prepare food supplies, you play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide nutritious meals to those in need. While we have limited opportunities for weekday volunteering, your dedication and hard work will make a significant difference in the lives of many in our community.
OFF-SITE
OPPORTUNITIES
Food Drives/Fundraising
Hosting food drives and fundraising events are powerful ways to support our food pantry and fight hunger. By organizing a food drive, you can rally your community, workplace, or organization to collect essential non-perishable items for those in need. Fundraising efforts, whether through events, online campaigns, or personal initiatives, provide critical financial support for purchasing fresh produce, covering operational costs, and expanding services. These activities can be done off-site and on your own time, offering flexibility. Your involvement helps us meet the growing demand for food assistance and fosters community generosity and solidarity.
