Hands of Hope provides services to all individuals in need, with a dedicated staff composed entirely of volunteers. We are incredibly grateful for every food item you donate, as they help us provide nutritious meals to those who need them most every day. Hands of Hope is always in need of a variety of canned and packaged goods, as well as other nonperishable foods. (Please, no perishables.) Your contributions make a significant difference in our efforts to support the community.

HANDS OF HOPE

DONATE FOOD

Hands Of Hope For The Community accepts donated food, including shelf-stable items such as canned and dry goods as well as fresh produce, and bakery items (with advance notice). We adhere to strict food safety guidelines for the food that we accept. Our volunteers is trained to pay close attention to date codes, especially with refrigerated products. Most of the dates on the food we distribute are not expiration dates – they are “best if used by” or “sell by” dates. This means the product is wholesome beyond the date on the product.

In addition to food items, we also gladly accept non-food items like diapers, baby wipes, deodorant, toothpaste, menstrual products and other essentials that help our clients live healthy and rewarding lives.

LOCATION

We accept walk up donations on the days we are open and distributing food to our clients. If you are unable to drop it off when we're open please contact us to arrange an alternate drop off.
